Original Articles Reflection of the Russia/Ukraine War on the Working SectorYasemin Levent & Osman Levent pp. 1 - 18 Abstract This research examines the effects of the Russian/Ukrainian War on 24.02.2022 on the working population in Ukraine. The research was carried out on working people in the southwestern region of Ukraine in 2021-2022 in the ongoing war process. The research was carried out with a phenomenological design from qualitative research methods. Information was collected with a semi-structured interview form, and content analysis was used. It is important in terms of the reflections of the ongoing war process on the extensions of the working segment, which is in the middle of violent mass and individual events, and the emerging problems are important in terms of researching for the first time. It is aimed to examine the difficulties experienced by the working segment in the individual, social, social, and economic dimensions of the war. In addition to the incredible dimension of people’s support for the military during the war, it covers the process that continues with the emergence of moral power, trust in the government, the emergence of the sacrifice aspects of the operating segment, the adoption of those who come from the hot war zone, the intense feeling of the war in work efficiency. It aims to examine the war’s effects on the operating segments. To provide psychological, economic and social support, it is recommended to carry out studies to eliminate the effects of the losses experienced during the war process on people and the working segment. Preschool Teachers' Use of Technology in Instructional Environments and Opions of Pre- School Teachers on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK)
Hülya Tüfekci & Feyza Candan pp. 19 - 52 Abstract In the preschool period, when the foundations of children's academic success are laid the integration of technology in the teaching process and in connection with this educational competencies are of great importance. In the digital age where education cannot be separated from technology, preschool teachers needs appropriate pedagogical approaches that will bring the subject area together with technology. In this case the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) model which is a guiding model for educators comes to the fore. The aim of this study is to reveal the use of technology by preschool teachers and their use of technology in the teaching process and to try to determine the perceptions of preschool teachers about TPACK competencies in the context of various factors. The participants of the study consist of 14 preschool teachers working in kindergarten in Gaziantep. As a data collection tool a semi-structured interview form created by the researchers was used and the data were tried to be interpreted with content analysis and descriptive analysis methods. As a result of the study, the current situation of preschool teachers regarding the use of technology was revealed with detailed descriptive analyzes. In addition, according to the findings obtained as a result of the content analysis it was determined that the TPACK perceptions of preschool teachers were generally shaped in the dimension of pedagogical content knowledge. Finally, it was concluded that the use of TPACK in the teaching process had many positive effects. An Examination of the Socio-Economic and Psychological Status of Syrians who Have Jobs in Turkey
Şerife Elif Acerman & Orbay Acerman pp. 53 - 64 Abstract From the past to the present, societies in human history have migrated due to war, exile, natural disasters, etc. Individuals have been affected economically, sociologically, and psychologically during these migrations. This research focuses on individuals who have spread around the world for different reasons, have fled dangerous situations at home and sought refuge in other countries, and are now the working population. This study aims to investigate the socio-economic and psychological conditions of Syrian refugees who have had jobs after migration to Turkey since 2011. After the war between Syria and the regime forces, governments have focused on solving refugee problems, while researchers have neglected the longing that refugees feel for their homeland. Our research is essential in examining how migration affects individuals socio-economically and psychologically and how individuals overcome this painful process. “The Reality of Migration in Today’s Turkey: Where Are We in Global Mobility?” is one of the articles written on this subject and has revealed the necessity for me to conduct this study. In this study, 13 Syrian refugees who are business owners were interviewed in the Nizip district of Gaziantep province. The questions prepared by the researcher and the questions in the semi-structured interview form were asked of the refugees. According to the answers obtained, codes and themes were extracted, and data were analyzed. A descriptive analysis technique was used to analyze the data. According to the results of the research, many data were obtained about the socio-economic and psychological conditions of Syrian refugees in Turkey. Qualifications of Students Who Graduated from STEM ALEX Schools in Egypt

Some of them focused on how to prepare a STEM teacher, while others focused on the STEM system and its origins and differences from the traditional education system. However, when examining previous studies, no study was found that looked at the learning outcome in STEM for the student. The skills of the graduate student from STEM schools are the output of education in schools. STEM and the evidence for its impact on the individual and society, and the difference of the STEM system from any other educational system, so this study aimed to determine the skills of graduate students from STEM schools. And to reach that goal, an attempt was made to answer the question of what are the qualifications of students who graduated from STEM schools in Egypt. Where an attempt was made to answer this question by conducting interviews with some of the graduate students from the Stem school in Alexandria in Egypt, and asking them some questions to determine what skills they acquired during the years of study at the Stem School. Interviews were conducted with 15 female students from STEM Alexandria School. Those who graduated in 2020 are now enrolled in different specializations and universities in different countries, and for this reason, the interviews were conducted through the Zoom program. The results concluded that the students who participated in this study acquired many skills that are included under two types of skills, namely soft skills and hard skills. Analysis of Keloğlan Tales in Terms of Value Transfer at Primary Level
Ezgi Yılmaz & Zeynep Çolakoğlu Saburlu pp. 75 - 94 Abstract The research examines the values portrayed in Keloğlan tales at the primary education level. The methodology used in this research includes a literature review, explicitly studying children's literature, fairy tales, and values education. A basic qualitative research design and the document analysis method were employed in the application part of the research. In this study, 19 fairy tales from Tahir Alangu's book called Keloğlan Tales (2020) were individually analyzed. The research aimed to determine whether these tales embody values such as justice, friendship, honesty, self-control, patience, respect, love, responsibility, patriotism, and benevolence. These values are included in the "Attitudes and Behaviors Related to Values and Values in the Renewed Curriculum" of the Ministry of National Education, Board of Education. The researcher created a table index to record and categorized the values found in the tales, as well as negative statements and messages present in the content of the tales. Based on the data obtained in the research, it was found that Tahir Alangu's book Keloğlan Tales contains 71 values and 67 negative messages and expressions. Despite including some of the "Values in the Renewed Curriculum," it was concluded that the book needs to be organized in terms of education, teaching, and value transmission through fairy tales. The book contains many negative statements, contradictory messages, and elements. The research suggests that the book should be removed from primary school libraries, revised to eliminate harmful elements, and rearranged accordingly.
